Cumulative GPA is calculated as a credit-weighted average across all semesters. Semesters with more credit hours have more impact on your final CGPA than semesters with fewer credit hours.
Example:
- Semester 1 GPA: 3.40 with 15 credits
- Semester 2 GPA: 3.70 with 18 credits
- 3.40 × 15 = 51.00
- 3.70 × 18 = 66.60
- Total grade points = 117.60
- Total credits = 33

This is not the same as weighted GPA for honors, AP, IB, or advanced classes. If your school gives weighted GPA points for course difficulty, enter the official semester GPA shown on your transcript.
