How to Use Scores Given as Points
Some teachers give scores as points instead of percentages. For example, you may get 45 out of 50 on a test, 18 out of 20 on a quiz, or 92 out of 100 on an exam.
Before adding that score to the calculator, convert the points into a percentage.
Formula:
Score Percentage = Points Earned ÷ Total Points × 100
Example:
45 ÷ 50 × 100 = 90%
